I was fortunate to be able to take several classes that I was enrolled in under Dr. Pope. She also took me to Chicago and Paris to study about art. Her enthusiasm for art made it quite enjoyable. She also stated that "Art History is like a puzzle. As art historians, we keep trying to find the pieces that fit together." I was raised in the auto industry by my dad and had to work at the dealership every summer. I worked one summer as a mechanic's associate changing brake pads and oil.
